Dietetics

Description

What can a Dietetian do for me?

Dietitians can help people to manage their health conditions or disease by using food as a form of therapy. Dietitians are able to help treat a wide range of conditions including diabetes, heart disease, cancers, gastrointestinal diseases, food allergies, food intolerances, disordered eating as well as overweight and obesity.

Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs) are university-qualified professionals who have registered with the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). They undertake ongoing training and education programs to ensure that they are your most up-to-date and credible source of nutrition information.
