1. Graduate Nurse Programs

Graduate programs are designed to develop and nurture basic nursing skills that are interchangeable from rural remote health care settings to large metro hospitals

Portland Graduate Program (GNP) details as following

  • Annual intake of 8 – 10 Graduate Nurses
  • Program is for  53 weeks with 5 weeks annual leave
  • Comprehensive orientation program and 5 paid study days
  • (0.8EFT) 8 days per fortnight
  • Commencing end January
  • 3 rotations in clinical areas such as:

Acute care

Subacute care

Peri operative service (day procedure, theatre and recovery)

Urgent care centre

Aged care

District services

  • Curriculum Vitae (resume) with clinical experience outlined
  • 3 certified clinical placement assessments
  • Certified Academic transcript (including key)
  • 3 referees with contact details (clinical and work)

Applications open June 6th 2022 and close July 8th 2022.
