OUR SERVICES

Quality & Safety

At Portland District Health, providing safe, high quality and person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Quality team works across the organisation to support our staff and services to continually improve the care and experience we provide to patients, residents, clients, families and carers.

The team supports a broad range of quality and safety activities, including clinical governance, accreditation, risk management, incident review, consumer feedback, quality improvement and monitoring of safety and performance.

We recognise that quality care is a shared responsibility. By working closely with our clinical teams, consumers and community, we use feedback, data and evidence to identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen the way our services are delivered.

We are committed to creating a culture where people feel comfortable speaking up, where we learn from both positive experiences and when things don't go as planned, and where continuous improvement is part of everyday practice.

Your feedback matters

Feedback from patients, residents, clients, families and carers helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can improve. We welcome compliments, suggestions and concerns and use this feedback to help shape safer, better and more responsive services for our community.
