Radiology / Medical Imaging
Portland District Health provides medical imaging services to patients with an appropriate referral. Services offered include CT scans, general X-ray, ultrasound, and breast screening as part of BreastScreen Victoria, offered free to eligible women.
Breast screening primarily targets women aged 50-74, who are invited for screening every two years. Women aged 40-49 and those over 74 should discuss with their doctor whether screening suits their individual risk profile.
Patients should contact the facility during business hours with their medical referral. For breast screening appointments, call 13 20 50 or book through My BreastScreen online. Open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
